Preparations and well underway for our upcoming Spirits Raising Trip to the Gawler Ranges, SA. After weeks of planning, coordination, and logistics, it’s nearly time for us to head off into remote South Australia for our 2017 Spirits Raising Trip.
Through our Outback Links program, we rally up incredible volunteers who help us to give back to people doing it tough out in rural Australia. We truly are bringing hope to those in need.
The purpose of our trip is simple, to provide much-needed, on the ground, practical and social support for those people living in remote conditions, as well as helping to improve their quality of life – even a small improvement to a property can make a big difference.
A week of team work, comradery, and some hard graft will have tremendous positive outcomes for these people both mentally and physically. In turn, the work we carry out and the positive outcomes of our trip will have a knock on effect for those people, their families, and their surrounding communities.
Living in isolation and battling extreme weather conditions like drought, as well as living with the daily grind of the outback can be extremely tough. Our trip will have a positive impact on the people living in the Gawler Ranges and we can’t wait to share the trip with you.
Our trip begins on Sunday 22 October, landing in Adelaide we will drive for six hours drive up to Mt Ive, SA where the fun begins. We’ll be sharing the trip across our social media so you can be part of what we hope to be a life changing experience.
If you would like to help the people of rural and remote Australia you can, by simply donating to Frontier Services your generous gift will go directly to helping those in need.
