The people of remote Australia have lost a great friend and enthusiastic advocate with the passing of Western Australian Senator Judith Adams on Saturday.
Frontier Services today pays tribute to Senator Adams for her unwavering commitment to representing the needs of remote Australians and her work, inside and outside the Government, to improve the lives of people in the bush.
“Judith has been a great friend to Frontier Services and a tireless and passionate advocate for the people of remote Australia,” said Frontier Services National Director Rosemary Young.
“In all her dealings with Frontier Services, Judith was a most enthusiastic and interested advocate for remote Australia. Whenever she came across our staff, she always wanted to hear their stories and often used their experiences to underpin her argument for reform.”
Frontier Services joins with the National Rural Health Alliance which yesterday stated that rural and remote Australia needs more champions like Judith Adams.
Frontier Services extends its condolences and sympathies to Senator Adams’ family.
