Hearing about what Frontier Services is doing to support remote Australians was a highlight for more than 100 people who attended the annual Victorian Supporters Lunch held in Melbourne on Friday.
Supporters travelled from across the state to be there, from Benalla to Bendigo to Warrnambool and all around Melbourne.
Frontier Services National Director Rosemary Young spoke to the people gathered about the work of Frontier Services over the past year in helping break down the disadvantage faced by people in isolated and remote areas.
The annual event is a way of saying thank you to the people in Uniting Church in Victoria who provide generous support for the organisation. It was held at the Synod Offices.
After the presentation from Rosemary, the supporters enjoyed catching up and sharing lunch.
