It was an opportunity to come together, celebrate the year and share a meal which featured an array of cuisine and tastes from across the world.
The Frontier Services Community Migrant Service hosted a ‘Shared Lunch’ last month bringing together women from the Kalgoorlie community who have been connected to the service.
All the women who attended provided a serve of food from their own country as a fun way to connect and share their different experiences. The nations represented were Botswana, Kenya, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and India. Women from Sudan and China who were unable to attend also supplied food for the global feast.
